7. Installation method

(1) The pump shall be installed and fixed on a stable foundation. It is better to lay a cushion between the base and the foundation. Ensure that the pump will not affect the vibration of the pipeline when it is started. The pump is not affected by other mechanical vibration.

(2) When installing the pipeline, it shall be noted that the inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump shall not exert force on the pump and shall be equipped with corresponding supports.

(3) Before installation, carefully check whether there are hard objects in the flow passage of the pump body to avoid damage to the impeller and pump body during operation.

(4) Sufficient maintenance space shall be reserved for the pump during installation to facilitate equipment maintenance in the later period.

8. Precautions

(1) A regulating valve shall be installed on the inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump to control the operation of the pump under rated conditions.

(2) Open the inlet valve of the pump before starting to fill the whole pump chamber with liquid.

(3) Turn on the power supply. When the pump reaches the normal speed, gradually open the valve on the discharge pipe and adjust it to the required working condition.

(4) Check whether the temperature rise at the motor and bearing is ≤ 70 ℃, and handle in time if any abnormality is found.

(5) It is forbidden to work the mechanical seal under dry grinding.

(1) If the water pump does not discharge water, it may be that there is air in the pump chamber.

(2) Insufficient pump flow may be caused by partial blockage of pipes and impeller of pump flow passage, insufficient valve opening, etc.

(3) Excessive pump power may be used beyond the rated flow.

(4) Noise and vibration may be caused by unstable pipeline support, gas mixed with liquid, bearing damage, etc.

(1) GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pump cannot transport low concentration sulfuric acid or other low concentration acid-base liquids

(2) If the mechanical seal of GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pump leaks during startup, the mechanical seal shall be replaced in time to prevent damage to other accessories caused by air entering the pump chamber

(3) During the use of GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pump, if the operator wants to check the pump, he must take protective measures to prevent concentrated sulfuric acid from leaking.
